
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad announced that two of its professors, prof. Chennupati Jagadish and Mallikarjun Tatipamula were elected as colleagues of the Royal Society (FRS), one of the highest recognition in the global scientific community.
The Community of the Royal Society is awarded to individuals who have contributed significantly to the development of natural knowledge and overcome discipline, such as mathematics, engineering and medical science.
Chennupati Jagadish, a member of the Faculty at the Australian National University, is known to be the first Indian and non -European Australian, elected by the President of the Australian Academy of Science. He currently serves as an advisor to the Australian government and parliament in matters and technologies.
MALLIKARJUN TATIPAMULA, who is the main technology director of Ericsson, was recognized as his work in the development of 5G network technologies and a new generation.
