On Friday, the rural police arrested two people involved in daylight formations and gained gold jewelry worth 9 Lakh. The accused were identified as Chinna Babu (28) of Papamet and Ram Mohan (42) villages from Anantapur Mandal.
The police team, which worked on reliable information about their movement, threw itself at the school intersection of St. Ann on the road Kalyandurg-Antapur and arrested them.
The police said both accusations resorted to theft to clean their debts and lead an extravagant lifestyle. Chinna Babu is a recurring perpetrator, with the criminal history of theft of vehicles and ATMs. During the serving time in prison in the Anantapur district, he developed a connection with Ram Mohan. The duo was sent to custody.
