
The Petbasheerabad police on Friday arrested two persons in connection with a medical recruitment scam in which parents of MBBS aspirants were duped with the promise of management quota seats.
The accused, identified as Argadapa Arvind Rao alias Aditya Kumar alias Adithya Deshmukh, 40, a resident of Ameerpet, originally from New Delhi, and Kusume Venkata Rao, 58, a resident of Banjara Hills, were arrested in Ameerpet. Forged allotment letters, fake contracts and mobile phones containing incriminating digital evidence were seized. They were produced before the court and remanded in judicial custody.
