Two external historical guides from Bidar
As part of a measure aimed at maintaining public peace and law and order, the Bidar police ordered the posting of two historians from the district.
The individuals have been identified as 25-year-old Rehmath Hussain and 38-year-old Javid Ali, both residents of Irani Colony in Bidar under Gandhi Gunj police limits.
According to a statement issued by Superintendent of Police Pradeep Gunti on Wednesday, Rehmath Hussain has been externally posted to Uttara Kannada while Javid Ali has been externally posted to Chamarajanagar.
The two have been charged with several criminal counts, including possession of deadly weapons, intimidation, theft and sale of ganja.
The police said they were repeatedly involved in criminal activities that threatened public peace and disrupted law and order, leading to external orders.
Earlier, on June 15, the district police dispatched two more rioters to different districts. With the latest action, the police continued their crackdown on habitual offenders.
Mr. Gunti said strict action, including external action, would be taken against individuals involved in illegal activities disrupting law and order in the district. He also called on the public, especially the youth, to desist from illegal activities that can jeopardize their future.
