Two students disappeared on Saturday evening, embarking on the Meenachil River to Bath, in heavy streams near Bharananganam. The served persons were identified as Albin Joseph, 21, a native of Kkkemala near Mundakayam and Amal to Joseph, 19, from Karungula near Adimali.
According to the police, the incident occurred around 16:30 in Villangupar near Bharananganam. Students who participated in the German language training at the Bharananganam Institute in Bharananganam have bathed in Ghat near the Vilangupar Most bridge. However, two of them were swept through strong currents. Third students managed to draw attention to the locals. Despite the efforts of local people, the missing students could not be found late in the evening.
