Pursuant to the provisions of the Goondas Act, two persons who were arrested by the central intelligence unit (CII) were detained for accusing the production of disturbing alcohol.
The duo was identified as K. Rajasekar, 45, Marakkanam and S. Pandian, 46, Ramapuram in Chennai.
Ciu police cleared on May 9. In Poothurai near Puduchherry, the fake liqueur production unit and the duo arrested. In the area they operated a false unit in bottles and sold a disturbing liqueur by connecting false labels.
Collector Shiek Abdul Rahman, who acted on the recommendation of police supervisor Villupuram, referred to them to the provisions of the Goondas law. The orders were delivered to them in the central cuddalore prison.
