Two day Hyderabad Dental Convention from 25th July

Hyderabad will host the Hyderabad Dental Convention (HDC) 2026 at the Hitex Exhibition Center on July 25 and 26. Organized by the Indian Dental Association (IDA), the two-day congress is expected to attract more than 6,000 delegates, including dental professionals, academicians, researchers, students and industry representatives from across the country.

Health Minister C. Damodar Raja Narasimha is expected to inaugurate the convention on July 25. The main highlight of the convention is that it will be dedicated to sports dentistry, an emerging field that is gaining importance worldwide. Scientific sessions will focus on topics such as the prevention and management of dental trauma in athletes, oral health assessment for athletes, custom mouthguards, emergency dental care protocols, and the integration of oral care into sports medicine.
