Two brothers killed during an argument with relatives in Belagavi

Two brothers were killed by their relatives during an argument that turned violent in Nugganatti village of Yaragati taluk in Karnataka’s Belagavi district on July 17.

The victims are Lagamappa Ramannavar (32) and Basappa Ramannavar (38).

An argument broke out as family members aired their disagreements. When the argument flared up, some people grabbed deadly weapons and attacked the brothers. Lagamappa and Basappa died on the spot due to profuse bleeding.

Senior police officers and personnel from Murgod police station rushed to the spot.

A case has been registered.
