Fire and rescue staff are looking for brothers who drowned on Thursday morning in the Malampuzha tank.
On Wednesday evening two brothers at the age of 21 and 16 drowned in the Malampuzha dam. Their bodies were obtained on Thursday morning.
The victims were identified as Mohammed Nihal, 21 years, and Mohammed Ahil, 16, Sons Jabir Nasseeb and Rajeen of Poolakkad, Puthuppallitherur, in Palakkad.
It was assumed that they drowned on Wednesday evening when swimming in the muddy area of the tank. They both lacked from the center of the evening.
They reached Malampuzha by bus when their parents attended a wedding. The police followed them using their mobile phone location. When it rained, they held the phone along with clothes on the shore in the polyethylene cover.
Nihal is a college student and his younger brother Ahil passed the SSLC test of the government higher high school, Big Bazaar, Palakkad.
