Two men involved in a fatal sting of 23 -year -old AC technician at Arsh Mahal Eidgah in Attapore were arrested on Thursday (September 4, 2025) within 24 hours during the joint Operation Attapur Police and Special Operations Team (SOT).
The victim, identified as Saif Ahmed Khan of Kishan Bagh, Bahadurpura, was attacked in the morning of 3 September after the old resentment escalated against violence. The police said the main accused Mohammed Sifuddin aka Faizan (24 years) and his collaborator Mohammed Kli, 19, both residents of Kishan Bagh, confronted Khan near Eidgah, raised a quarrel and launched knives.
The investigation revealed that Faizan carried hostility against Khan after a previous quarrel three months ago, during which Khan allegedly attacked and abused his mother. “With revenge on his mind, Faizan hired himself in a Spring to help him remove Khan,” the police said.
According to officials, he first stabbed the victim into his stomach with a knife that he carried before he handed it to Faizan, who then repeatedly stabbed Khan on his chest, stomach, forearm and near the neck. The locals rushed Khan to Osmania General Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries at night.
During the operation, the police confiscated the knife used in crime, two -round and two mobile phones from the accused. Both men are now in custody. The police said that the accusations were booked for murder and further investigations were underway.
