
Two people, identified as Abubakar Siddiiqui and Mohammed Ali, were arrested on Tuesday evening in Rayachoti, at the Head of the Annamayy district for their alleged terrorist connection.
The duo, allegedly brothers, lived in Rayachoti over the last three decades in Rayachni.
Police Annamaya said that officials of the anti -terrorist group Tamil Nadu (ATS) performed an operation against suspects in many terrorist cases reported by Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
The duo lived in the area of Kothapalli and maintained a low profile and sold sari.
Both siblings are key suspects in rendering a series of bomb attacks, in particular the case of the 1995 bomb.
The accusation against them included 2013 Malleswaam Bjp Office Blast in Karnataka, series explosions from 1999 in Tamil Nadu and Keraral and the murder of Dr. Arvin Reddy based in Vellore.
Police sources said that the suspects had married women belonging to the Madanapalle division and lived in rented accommodation to escape the police. Reportedly, however, remained active in underground extremist operations. With reliable data, the IB team created a secret base in Rayachni a few months ago and watched the movements of the suspects. Interestingly, the IB staff was masked as street sellers.
After a two -month -old intense supervision, ATS Miss, in coordination with the district police Annamayya, attacked their houses and arrested the suspect. The suspects were moved to Chennai for a detailed probe and the reconstruction of scenes in cases allegedly involving the duo.
Ats officials reported that they have confiscated raw explosive goods, literature related to terrorism and accusing documents of their suspect houses.
The locals told the police that the duo would maintain minimal interaction with the neighborhood and that they often walked Outstations.
Parts rented by the accused were sealed and the police party was published there.
Two women from Tsundupall Mandal from the district of Annamayya, which are reported to be suspects, were also taken into custody for questioning.
Before the police surgery, she maintained strict supervision of control attitudes along the district and interstate boundaries.
The incident sent shock waves through the district, especially in the background of recent municipal disorders in Rayachni.
