Ernakulam rural police arrested two people from Nepal for accusation of assaulting and injuries of police officers. They are arrested Sanj Maya, 38 years, and suman, 36. They were arrested by the Ayyampuzha police.
The alleged incident occurred on Friday (March 28, 2025) around 2:00, when the charges were reportedly found under suspicious circumstances. When they noticed the Night Patrol team, they reportedly tried to escape from their scooter.
But the police chased them. When they asked why they were out at that time, they reportedly provided contradictory explanations, and then allegedly attacked the police team. The Sub-Innspector George was reportedly hit in the face, while the assistant of the sub-inspector Rosa and the Civil Police of Prasad and Arnu were injured.
