Police on Thursday (Oct 30, 2025) arrested two youths for allegedly trying to steal money by breaking into an ATM at Marampilla near Perumbavoor. The arrested have been identified as Sujith Babu, 26, of Koduveli near Thodupuzha, and Anandu Prasad, 24, of Sooranad, Kollam.
The pair allegedly tried to break into the ATM of a leading bank around 3:00 a.m. on Thursday. The attempted theft was reported to the police by the bank’s head office after receiving a warning. The case was registered on the basis of a complaint filed by the bank.
