Two accusations of the murder case Chandan Kumar Misra were injured at a police meeting in Arah on Tuesday (July 22, 2025), while another accused was arrested.
A press release published from the Bihojpur Superintendant of Police (SP) said that in a joint operation of Special Task Force (STF) and Bhojpur two accused two of Mishr’s murder at the Bihiya police station and arrested one accused.
“July 22, 2025 around 05:00, Station House Bihia, Police Station and StF strength identified and surrounded the criminals who carried weapons near Katio Road, and when the police asked the criminals to give up, the criminals began shooting at police forces.
He added that both are treated in the government and the third accused Abhishek Kumar was arrested. The police said that further legal steps would take in this respect.
During the interrogation of the criminal, these people have shown that these people were involved in the incident of the murder held on July 17th at Paras Hospital.
Balwant Kumar Singh and Abhishek Kumar are the inhabitants of the Buxar district, while Raviranjan Kumar Singh is a resident of Bhojpur
The police also received four cartridges, two pistols, one desi Katta (a country made) and two magazines.
According to the police, Mr. Abhishek was present at the place of occurrence and went on a motorcycle with two shooters Mr. Raviranjan and Mr. Balwant.
Mishra, the murder accused, which was released, was shot dead inside the private hospital in Patna, located in the busy Raja Bazaar area early in the morning five shooters under the Shastri Nagar police station.
