The eighth additional judge of the district judge in Nellore on Friday (October 10, 2025) sentenced two to a life prison in the case of rape and a ten -year prison for robbing the victim and her friend.
The defendant T. Naveen Kumar (26) and K. Dev (19) captured a woman and her girlfriend near the Sullurpette in Tirupati 3 February 2019, threw her out, plundered her valuables and raped her.
The duo took her to the station Akkampet and sexually thought. On the basis of a complaint filed by the police, Sullurpeth registered the case and arrested the accused. The fee sheet was filed and the case was admitted for investigation.
The Court of Justice expressed a sentence on Friday and slapped a life prison for the two. Police Superintendent L. Subbaralyuda praised officials involved in the investigation for ensuring rapid court and justice.
