Turpu the Samskshema Sangham National President Pisini Chandra Mohan urged the Union’s government to expand further back -class status (OVC) on the Turpu Hood community in all Andra Pradesh regions.
Together with the head of the AP Turpa Action Committees, Girada Appala Swamy and Pall Venkata Rao submitted a detailed representation to the National President BJP Morcha K. Lakshman and Member of Rajya Sabha Gvl Narasimha Rao in New Delhi.
Mr. Chandra Mohan said that the community is currently being used in the North Andhra region. He called on to spread throughout the state that the youth from the community could obtain reservation facilities in the jobs of the central government and admitting in national renowned educational institutions.
“Mr. Lakshman and Mr. Narasimha Rao have responded positively to our request. We hope that the Union government will ensure the status of the CITC after the rapid completion of the community socio -economic study,” said Mr. Chandra Mohan.
