
The government successfully closed the auction of 10 out of 15 critical and strategic mineral blocks, which were listed on the offer under the fifth trance launched 28 January.

Other winners include Vinmir Resources pvt., RK Mineral Development Pvt., Sunflag Iron and Steel Co. LTD, NLC India Ltd, Ramgad Minerals and Mining Ltd.
This total number of blocks auctioned by the central government reached 34.
The key milestone under Trache V is the first successful auction of the Potaš Bloc, which refers to the main step to unlock domestic resources of the reserve to help agriculture. This milestone also represents the first successful auction of a critical and strategic mineral block in Rajasthan.

Regular auction of critical mineral blocks is an important element of the strategy adopted by the Ministry to build self -sufficiency in critical minerals in the country.
The ministry also focuses on exploring critical minerals in the country and has launched a national mission mission to ensure self -sufficiency.
