Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is all set to give its famous Srivari Seva a major makeover.
Executive Director Anil Kumar Singhal on Thursday appealed to the authorities to initiate steps to strengthen the voluntary seva service and ensure its outreach to the medical field as well as various temples under its fold across the country.
In a review meeting in Tirupati with Additional Managing Director CH Venkayya Chowdary and JEO Veerabrahmam, Mr. Singhal emphasized that advanced training for Srivari Sevaks and leaders should be conducted in December this year and January 2026.
The program will be designed in collaboration with IIM-Ahmedabad and the state planning department and will include modules on leadership, management, Sanatana Dharma and service excellence.
He directed the officials to ensure steps to introduce ‘Srivari Medical Seva’, a noble concept meant to extend advanced medical services to patients in its key hospitals like Aswini, SVIMS, BIRRD, Ayurveda and Padmavathi Children’s Hospital, besides setting up an exclusive Medical Seva Cell for better coordination.
There are also plans to introduce Srivari Seva at TTD temples in Chennai, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Kanyakumari and Bengaluru before expanding the seva program nationwide and utilizing their services for SV Gosala and other cow protection activities.
The meeting was attended by senior doctors of various TTD hospitals, IT GM Phani Kumar Naidu, representatives of IIM-Ahmedabad and state planning department, among others.
