Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Director Anil Kumar Singhal has asked officials to set up a special helpline to improve the management of the Kalyana Mandapams managed by the temple Trust Board.
Mr. Singhal, who discussed the issue with officials at the TTD administration building on Saturday, said the helpline number would help in getting feedback from the devotees.
He suggested that feedback regarding TTD Kalyana Mandapams should be obtained from devotees through local Srivari Sevaks, which would help prepare plans to understand pressing issues and facilities needed.
He said that bringing the management of Kalyana Mandapams under Facility Management Services (FMS) framework would make it easier to maintain cleanliness and provide better facilities.
The TTD EO has advised the officials to collect feedback on various aspects of the TTD Kalyana Mandapams, including compound walls, toilets, Kalyana Vedika, arrangement of decorations, suitability for conducting marriages, parking facilities, leakage problems during rainy season, water stagnation in the premises and security.
“Gathering feedback will help provide better facilities for devotees,” he said.
