The US judge blocked President Donald Trump’s administration on Wednesday in the closure of the labor choir, a residential work education program intended for youth from low -income group.
Judge Andrew Carter noted on Manhattan that the stopping of the 60 -year -old US Department of Labor’s program at once without a congress permission is “illegal”.
In accordance with the NJCA statement, it was stated that the decision was “a rescue rope for tens of thousands of young people whose future depends on the training, support and opportunities provided by the labor corps”.
The White House and the Work Department have to respond to it.
The decision followed the court proceedings filed by the National Labor Association – a business group representing suppliers operating the Centers of the Working Corps – together with several of its members. Judge Carter issued a preliminary order that prevented the Ministry of Labor from the end of the program, while the case continues and extended the emergency decision, which he issued in early June.
