Trump’s Peace Cvoprew faces obstacles? Russia-Ukraine’s peace negotiations got to a break, announced the Kremlin on Friday and accused European countries of preventing a process that said Moscow had remained open.
The efforts of US President Donald Trump to mediate the agreement between Russia and Ukraine have not yet produced any results.
“Communication channels are introduced and operated. Our negotiators have the opportunity to communicate through these channels. However, it is probably more accurate to say that there is a pause,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said about interviews between the two nations.
Russian-Ukraine is talking
This year, Russian and Ukrainian negotiators organized three rounds of direct interviews in Istanbul this year, last 23 July, which concluded several agreements on the return of the prisoners and bodies of the dead. However, both sides remained far apart, without a final outline of what a perhaps peace agreement might look like.
Russia also accused Kyiv of not recognizing what it calls “reality on Earth”, while Ukraine said Moscow pretends to be interested in interviews and continues to try to take over more of her territory, reported Reuters.
