US President Donald Trump set out on a reporter in an oval office on Wednesday and told him to “get a new job” after he was promoted why he did not take steps against Russian President Vladimir Putin for refusing to end the war in Ukraine.
The question came from a Polish radio journalist who asked why Trump, even though he expresses frustration and disappointment with Putin, has to respond with specific measures.

Trump pushed back as he asked about the lack of American action against Russia and instead showed his tariffs in India as an example of punishing Moscow. He rejected the journalist line of the interrogation and told him to “get a new job”.
In the viral video Trump said, “How do you know there is no action? Would you say that introducing secondary sanctions on India – the largest buyers outside China, are almost the same – would you say there is no action?”
“Russia cost hundreds of billions of dollars. Do you call it any action? And I haven’t done a 2 or phase of 3 yet,” Trump added.

“But when you say there is no action, I think you should get a new job,” Trump continued. “Because if you remember two weeks ago, I said if India would buy – India has big problems, and that happened. So don’t tell me about it.”
Meanwhile, Trump indicated on Wednesday the possibility of new sanctions against Russia, unless it ends in Ukraine and said, “You will see that things will happen” if he was dissatisfied with the reaction of President Vladimir Putin, AFP reported.
“I have no message to President Putin, knows where I stand, and he decides one way or another,” Trump told reporters in an oval office when he met Polish President Karol Nawrocki.
Putin showed little interest in participating in direct interviews that Trump claimed to organize between Russian and Ukrainian leaders.
Meanwhile, Trump remained vague about what specific steps he would take if Putin refused to cooperate.
How do you know there is no action? … would you say that introducing secondary sanctions on India … would you say there is no action?
But when you say there is no action, I think you should get a new job.
However, Trump pushed against the accusation of being soft to Moscow, and pointed to recent secondary sanctions against India about the purchase of Russian oil and indicated that further measures could be considered.
