Trump vs Harvard: Princess Elisabeth, 23 -year -old future Queen Belgium, has just completed her first year at Harvard University, but the ban on US President Donald Trump’s administration on foreign students who studied there could jeopardize her ongoing study.
Trump’s administration abolished the ability of Harvard University to register international students on Thursday – a move that affects more than 7,000 students currently registered, the Ivy League school said in a rug of restrictions.
“Princess Elisabeth has just finished her first year. The impact of the decision (Trump’s administration) will be clearer only in the coming days/weeks. We are currently exploring the situation,” said the spokesman of the Belgian Royal Palace Lore Vandoorne.
“At the moment we are analyzing it and letting things settle down. A lot can happen in the coming days and weeks,” added the communication director of the Palace Xavier Baert.
