US President Trump said on Thursday that the US has a “massive” military heading towards Iran – but “we may not have to use it” – as he remained coy about his intentions.
Speaking aboard Air Force One on his way back to the United States after speaking to world leaders in Davos, Switzerland, Trump said: “We have many ships headed that way. We have a large fleet headed that way and we’ll see what happens.”
“We have a large force heading toward Iran. I’d rather not see anything, but we’re watching them very closely. We have a military. We have a massive — massive heading that way. And we may not have to use it. We’ll see,” Trump said.
