At least three were killed when the US military made a second deadly strike on the alleged Venezuelan drug cartel heading to the United States. Widely circulated shots of the attack showed that the ship on which US President Donald Trump said he ordered a military strike. The president said the ship carried narcotics from Venezuela.
“This morning, at my orders, US military forces, a second kinetic strike against positively identified, extremely violent cartels of drug trafficking and narcoterrorists in SouthCom responsibility,” Trump said September 15.
He said the strike occurred, while it was confirmed that “the narcoterorists from Venezuela were in international waters carrying illegal narcotics (deadly American poisoning!) Fire to the US,” Trump said.
Trump further informed that three people were killed on the strike.
“These extremely violent drug cartels represent a threat to US national security, foreign policy and essential American interests,” Trump added. “The strike resulted in 3 terrorists killed in action. No US forces were damaged in this strike,” he said.
Trump, who releases strict warnings, said, “Be alerted – if you transport drugs that can kill Americans, hunt you! Illegal activities with these cartels have caused decades of devastating consequences on the American communities and killed millions of US citizens.
Shots of American military strikes
Trump’s truth included a nearly 30 -second video, with a “unclassified” at the top that seemed to show a vessel in the body exploding and then in the fire.
Later on Monday, Trump said “we have proof, everything you have to do is look at the cargo that was … sprayed all over the ocean, large bags of cocaine and fentanyl.”
The second deadly US attack
Trump’s announcement on September 15 came less than two weeks after the US military killed 11 individuals on a strike allegedly associated with the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.
The second strike on Monday was carried out in the middle of the growing tension with Venezuela because the US deployed military assets, including Iwo Jim Ambibious Ready Group and 22.
Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yván Gil said last week that Venezuela “does not sit on conflict” with the US: “We don’t even want conflict”.
Venezuela’s Maduro calls Rubio “Lord of Death”
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro promised to resist “aggression” by describing US Foreign Minister Marco Rubio “Lord of Death and War” over his hard rhetoric on Latin American cartels.
“Wherever he goes is death, bombs and murdered children,” Maduro said. He warned that communication with Washington had “disintegrated”.
Shortly after his speech, President Donald Trump said that the US military was again aimed at a ship allegedly carrying drugs from Venezuela and killed three aboard the ship.
