The nations said that the solution of two states was the only way to achieve peace, but Israel said that the recognition of the Palestinian state was a reward for extremism.
Israeli war
The Israeli attack on Gaza since October 2023 has killed tens of thousands, internally displaced by the entire Gaza population and started the starvation crisis. Experts on more rights, scientists and UN investigations have assessed that they are equal to genocide.
Israel calls his actions of self -defense after the attack of Palestinian militants Hamas in October 2023, who killed 1200 people, and in which there were more than 250 hostages.

Trump promised to end the war in Gaza, but the resolution remains elusive for eight months after his term.
Trump’s term of office began with a two -month ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, which ended when the Israeli strikes killed 400 Palestinians 18 March. Recently, images of starving Palestinians, including children, have caused global outrage against Israel attack on Gaza.
In February Trump proposed US takeover of Gaza and permanent relocation of Palestinians from here. It was designated as a proposal for “ethnic cleaning” from experts on law and UN. The violent displacement is illegal under international law. Trump threw a plan as an idea for reconstruction.
Genocide in Gaza
The Ministry of Health in Gaza, which operates under Hamas and is employed by medical experts, states that more than 65,000 Palestinians have been killed from an escalated conflict.
While the Ministry does not specify how many civilians killed against warriors, women and children are about half of their deaths.
The concept of genocide was formally defined in the 1948 UN Convention, created as a result of the Holocaust. According to this definition, genocide concerns the acts committed with the intention of destroying, completely or partially, national, ethnic, racial or religious groups.

These actions include killing group members, causing them serious physical or mental harm and intentional creation of living conditions to lead to the physical destruction of the group.

Although the team does not officially constitute the UN, their evaluation was based on the action formula, including the overall siege of Israel, extensive killing and injury to the Palestinians and the widespread destruction of health and education infrastructure. Israel claims that such devices are used for military purposes. The Israeli government released a full blockade of Gaza in May, which lasted two and a half months.
At the end of 2023, the South Africa accused Israel of Genocide at the UN Supreme Court, the International Court. About a dozen countries joined this case. The final decision may take years.
To prove our case, South Africa must prove the intention.
Attorneys have already pointed to the country’s comments on Israeli leaders, including the then Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant, that Israel “fights human animals”, and representatives of the Nissim Vaturi river and said the Israelis shared the goal of “erase the Gaza lane from the Earth”.
Israel under pressure
Israel faces a growing international pressure, even from nations that formally designated their actions as genocide. Throughout Europe, there were protests and a growing call for Israeli exclusion from cultural and sports events.
The chairman of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, formerly strong supporter of Israel, has now defended a partial suspension of business relations. Meanwhile, both Germany and the United Kingdom, the long -term allies of Israel, either stopped into the country or limited certain exports of weapons.

While some experts, such as academic Norman God, do not believe that Israeli actions represent genocide, they recognize the wider consequences of this term. “Genocide is a legal classification,” he said, “but it also carries enormous political and cultural significance. Once the nation is considered to be committed genocide, the shadow of this shield cannot escape.”
