- 1,200 employees at national health institutions due to centralization of public procurement, human resources and communication
- 300 employees in Medicare & Medicaid Services Centers

Robert Kennedy JR also announced that the function of HHS will be streamlined since then. “Currently, 28 HHS divisions contain many redundant units,” the press release said.
