On Thursday (July 10, 2025), 38 -year -old Trinamool leader was killed on Thursday (July 10, 2025). Two people were arrested in connection with the murder.
The victim, Rajjak Khan, was the chairman of the Trinamool area and a collaborator of the MLA Saukat Molla. The party accused the Indian secular front (ISF) for a crime.
According to reports, Khan was shot several times and his throat was cut. He was killed when returning home from a meeting of the party. The incident occurred in the Charteria area in Bhangar, which falls under the jurisdiction of Kolkata.
After the crime appeared, Mr. Molla blamed him of the ISF, which in turn said it was the result of the internal dispute between the members of the Trinamool.
In an interview with Mediaperons, Commissioner Kolkata Manoj Kumar Verma, he said: “Rajjak Khan was murdered between 21:30 and 22:00 on Thursday evening. The exact thing will be known after the investigation.” The police still have to reveal the identity of those who have been arrested in connection with the murder.
Khan’s body was sent for post -portal examination.
“The criminals who have been hiding the ISF killed Khan. They lose their political significance every day, and therefore resorted to such criminal activities,” Molla said.
Talking with Mediaperons, the brother of the victim of Ishaque Khan, said the murder could be caused by political rivalry. “He was first shot and then stabbed. I’m not sure who the attackers are.”
He responds to development, BJP President Samik Bhattacharya said, “The killings are Men Trinamool and those who kill are also from the same side.”
Bhangar was on several occasions hotspot violence and was recently under the jurisdiction of the police in Kolkata.
