When leaving the stand biased by a majority of political parties on a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the Trinamool Congress focused on Wednesday (April 23, 2025) on the Minister of the Interior of the Union over the tragedy and held the government of the Union responsible for an attack that claimed 26 lives on Tuesday.
Several leaders of the ruling party criticized the Union’s government and stated that the Minister of the Interior of the Union Amit Shah should accept responsibility for not preventing the attack.

Mrs. Ghose said that the Minister of the Interior should tell the nation what she intends to do. “Tell us what you have done. Say the nation what you intend to do. Her notes were shared from the official X Congress Congress Trinamool.
The ruling party of the West Bengal also said that the center was directly responsible for this security delay and was exposed to fraud of “safe cushion”. “Following the #pahalgamterroristtack, we express the deepest condolences to the grieving families from Bengal and the whole India. The head of West Bengal Aroop Biswas, who met relatives of the deceased tourists in Calcutta, said those who claim that the country’s high demands will have to answer why tourists were focused.
“What is the government doing? There was a delay at every step, so so many people were killed,” Mr. Biswas said at a press conference in Calcutta. Of the 26 tourists killed by the western Bengal.
TMC questions focused on vacancies in the military
The leaders of the Trinamool Congress also raised questions about vacancies in the army. “There is a shortage of 7,799 officers and 1,08,685 soldiers in the army; 1,446 officers and 12,151 sailors in the navy; and 572 officers and 5,217 pilots in Air Force. He said Trinamool.

She said that all “arrangements are determined by our administration at the airport in Delhi to help family members of the victims and their next trip to Calcutta”. The main minister said that the flight (with the victims of the victims) is likely to arrive in Calcuta on Wednesday evening.
“The office of our resident in Delhi is in contact with family members (victims). I personally oversee and our higher officers work hands,” she added.
