Tribute to Telugu poet Sri Sri on his 43rd death anniversary

Visakhapatnam Praja Natya Mandali District Committee on Sunday organized a cultural program at Beach Road to mark the 43rd death anniversary of Telugu poet Srirangam Srinivasa Rao, fondly known as Sri Sri.

The program featured a series of performances highlighting Sri Sri’s literary legacy. Artistes from Rajarajeswari Kuchipudi Dance Troupe and Muthyalu Ragini Group presented Kuchipudi recitals, while artists from Praja Natya Mandali rendered songs inspired by the poet’s work.

M. Chanti, District Secretary of Praja Natya Mandali and Francis, District President of Sahiti Sravanthi paid floral tributes to Sri Sri. Organizers said the program was part of Kalala Keratal, a month-long cultural platform aimed at promoting literature, art and progressive cultural traditions.
