The Kansas City Chiefs have invested in homes that offer much more than luxury. His properties reflect a mix of privacy, space and personal history, from the sprawling Kansas mansion associated with his engagement to Taylor Swift to a historic estate overlooking Lake Erie. His latest purchase also brought the Ohio native closer to his roots and added another remarkable chapter to his real estate journey.

Travis Kelce’s Leawood mansion

Kelce’s Leawood, Kansas home stands out as one of the most notable properties associated with the football star. He reportedly bought the French Regency-inspired mansion for around $6 million, giving him a 17,000-square-foot retreat on 3.5 acres.The six-bedroom, six-bathroom property has plenty designed for both relaxation and entertaining. Inside is a two-story movie theater, a wine cellar, and a clubhouse with a full bar. Outside there is a pool with a waterfall, a hot tub and a large terrace.For athletes, this property also leaves little to be desired. Kelce has access to a private gym, sauna, lighted tennis and pickleball courts, and even a miniature golf course.Home also has a special place in his personal story. According to comments from his father, Ed Kelce, the mansion was where Kelce proposed to Swift in 2025, shortly before the couple publicly announced their engagement.

Travis Kelce’s Ohio estate and former Kansas City home

Kelce’s latest reported purchase takes him back to his home state. In March 2026, he acquired Moyenage, a historic lakefront property in Bratenahl, Ohio, for $5.35 million.The over 21,000 square foot Tudor style mansion sits on 3.5 acres overlooking Lake Erie. Built in 1904 for businessman Jay Morse, the property has eight bedrooms and 11 bathrooms and has recently undergone extensive renovations.Its interiors combine historical character with modern entertainment spaces. The former ballroom is now used as a games room and home cinema, the lower floor has billiards, poker, a bar, a wine cellar and a sauna. The complex also includes a heated swimming pool, a stone terrace and a guest cottage.Before the Leawood upgrade, Kelce lived in the Briarcliff West neighborhood of Kansas City. He purchased the roughly 10,000-square-foot property for $995,000 in 2019. The seven-bedroom home included a gourmet kitchen, gym, wine cellar, pool and gazebo.It remains unclear whether Kelce still owns the Briarcliff West property. Clearly, his real estate holdings have evolved along with his career, giving the NFL star private spaces in both Kansas and his native Ohio.
