BJP leader BS Yediyurappa said that he is traveling across the state to bring the change that people wish to see.
While visiting the Suttur Mutt here, Mr. Yediyurappa spoke to reporters and said he was traveling the length and breadth of the state to respond to people’s aspirations and work for the change they wanted.
Before Chief Minister Siddaramaiah presented the State Budget 2026-27, Mr. Yediyurappa said he wished the Chief Minister would pay attention to the marginalized and Dalits in the society so that a system could be created for them to lead a peaceful and dignified life. He regretted that such aspirations had not yet been fulfilled.
Mr. Yediyurappa also took exception to the “confusion” created around Prime Minister Narendra Modi with regard to his development work in the country as well as the US-Israeli war against Iran. Mr. Modi wants everyone to lead a peaceful life, he said.
Several BJP leaders, including former MLAs – N. Mahesh, Niranjan Kumar, L. Nagendra and Pratap Simha, former MP and others, accompanied Mr. Yediyurappa.
