New Terminus – maintained by Vellore Corporation – uses the public for pilgrimage buses such as Tirupati, Tiruvannamalai, Sholinghur and Kancheepuram. Buses to cities such as Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Madurai, Tiruchi, Salem and Coimbatore can also start from the terminal. From there, over 75,000 buses are joined every day.
