With the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), who launched an indefinite strike since 5 August, the transport department launched a plan to minimize the commuters.
AM Yogeesh Commissioner organized a meeting with private bus operators on Saturday to explore alternative arrangements. Officials discussed the possibility of deploying private buses in case the strike seriously affects public transport, especially in urban and semi -abusive areas.

After a meeting with private operators, the Commissioner for Transport also organized a virtual conference with all representatives of commissioners and higher KSRTC officials and other traffic corporations to assess the potential disruption and strategy of mitigation.
Meanwhile, the main minister is scheduled for discussions with representatives of unions in Vishan Juděh 4. August, at the last minute efforts to avert the strike, according to the office of the main minister.
