The police said the driver of the G. Nayagan truck (34), a native of Ambur, drove from Mangalore in Karnataka to Chennai with an intervention around 1.30, when he suddenly lost control of the vehicle and hit the side wall of the bridge into construction.
In the impact, the vehicle turned over and affected the movement of traffic on the route. Immediately other motorists warned the Pallikond Police, who plunged into the place. Wooden protocols, which dispersed on the road, were removed before the operation on the section was restored two hours later. The truck driver suffered minor injuries and was treated as an output at the Velore Government Medical University Hospital. A case was registered. The probe is below AY.
