The four -week educational program in the “serial and silk industry” for a total of 30 trainees from eight different countries was inaugurated on Wednesday in Mysur on Wednesday at the Central Institute for Research and Training (CSRTI).
Inauguration of the Educational Program initiated as part of the Indian Program of Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) of the Ministry of Outside Affairs, the Indian Government, the director of the Central Silk Council (CSB), Bengalur, S. Manthira Moorthy said that more than two foreign nationals were trained by the centers across various sectors in various sectors in various sectors.
The following ITEC program is the seventh international educational course on the series and the silk industry organized by CSRTi in Mysur and a coordinated CSB and the International Commission for the series.
The participants of the educational program come from Cuba, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghany, Phillipins, Tanzania, Thailand and Uganda.
Mr. Moorth expressed hope that the training will not only equip the participants with technical expertise and practical exhibition in the field of Serikulture, but also provide information on the cultural heritage of India, allowing them to return to their countries with a rich knowledge of knowledge.
The director of CSRTI P. Deep outlined the key role of the Institute in the Care of the Development of the Global Series. She stressed that CSB-csrti Mysuru with its six Detead dedicated research, expansion and training proved to be a leading center for tropical series, which serves not only the Indian silk industry, but also provides technical support for several developing countries.
Mrs. Deep also emphasized some of the main achievements of the CSRTI, including the development of high -profit mulberry variants, productive breeds of silk ureters, hybrids adapted to tropical conditions and a wide range of innovative breeding technologies. “This progress has contributed significantly to improving productivity, profitability and sustainability in the series,” she said.
“The ITEC training program will comprehensively cover the technologies of seriacultures through interactive sessions, practical demonstrations and practical training modules. To complete the theoretical knowledge, participants would be accepted when visiting field fields such as initial procedures such as central institutions. Dynamics of the sericultural industry from agriculture to coconut and silk production, ”added Mrs. Deepa.
She expressed the certainty that the skills, knowledge and trust gained during the program would allow them to effectively implement knowledge in their countries and support the growth of series around the world.
Padmanav Nayak, the assistant of the secretary (technical), CSB-Bengalur, who is also the ITEC coordinator, said that the Ministry of Textile, the Indian government, determined CSRTI, Mysur, as training in the support of the early stages of series development.
