
South Central Railway has announced the resumption of train services which were earlier canceled due to Cyclone Montha.
Train No. 17209 SMVT Bengaluru-Kakinada City Seshadri Daily Express starting on Friday is resumed and will run as per scheduled times and route.
To clear the extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway has announced to run a one-way special train between Kakinada and SMVT Bengaluru at a cost of 1.3.
Train No. 02086 Kakinada Town-SMVT Bengaluru Express Special (One Way) departs Kakinada at 9:00 AM on Thursday and arrives SMVT Bengaluru at 3:00 AM the next day.
The train will consist of 23 coaches, one AC first class and one AC, two AC double decker, five AC triple decker, 11 sleeper coaches, two general second class coaches and two SLR coaches.
En route, this special train stops at the following stations: Samalkot Jn, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada Jn, Tenali, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta Jn, Katpadi Jn, Jolarpettai and Bangarpet.
