In a tragic incident, a 19 -year -old student was reportedly killed by suspicious cattle smugglers in the Gorakhpur district in Uttarprady.
The victim was identified as Deepak Gupta. He was preparing for the national entry test of capability (Neet).
The incident occurred in the village of Jungledhusar, Gorakhpur on the night of September 16, when he entered the village of cattle smugglers and Deepak tried to chase them, allegedly fired at him.
On Monday evening, about 10–12 cattle smugglers arrived in Mauachapi village to spice cattle from God who belongs to Deepak’s family.
After Deepak was warned by the cousin, he rushed to the scooter along with 10-15 villagers. The confrontation broke out, during which the smugglers overwhelmed him, forcibly took him into a vehicle for the goods and later killed him before throwing the body several kilometers away, Findia reported.
After the incident, violent protests were running on Tuesday.
The villagers claimed that Deepak was shot.
However, the police said the smugglers were digging him, causing a fatal head injury.
“People say there was a shooting, but in Prima-Facie does not seem to be injured,” said SSP Raj Karan Nayyar, he informed India today.
The police created five teams to get the accused.
“Our operation is taking place in the village. Five teams are working on this case. Other events are also shared with the ratio. Officers were also visited during which some police officers were injured. They treated those who suffered injuries. More police forces were deployed,” Nayyar added.
According to the police, three vehicles joined the village carrying suspects of cattle around 12:30.
The villagers noticed that they noticed that they got rid of cattle and triggered an alarm.
Deepak chased them, then he was reportedly shot.
Later, his body was found near the village of Saraiya, about 4 kilometers from his residence.
The angry villagers managed to capture one of the smuggling vehicles and ignite them.
One suspect was persecuted and beaten.
On Tuesday morning she escalated agitation with villagers blocking the Gorakhpur-Pipraich road.
Operation on the main road was influenced for several hours.
They laid stones on the police and left the superintendent of the police (northern) Jitendra Srivastava and Station Purushottam.
On the site of the protest, security staff from four police stations and a provincial armed constabulary (PAC) were deployed for the control unit.
