
Eight passengers fell from a crowded local train near the Mumbra station in Mahari, the officials said on Monday 9 June. “The reason for the accident is an excessive crowd on the train,” the central railway said.
The central railways reported that some passengers towards CHHATAPATI Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai fell from the train at Thane’s Mumbra.
“Railway and police administration has reached a place,” he added.
The injuries were immediately taken to the nearest hospital. The central railways said that the investigation of the accident began.
“Local services were also influenced by the incident,” he added.
According to the NDTV report, five passengers are concerned about the dead after falling on the track from the local train heading to CHHhatApati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai.
Meanwhile, the press agency did not share the visual effects from the Mumbra station in Thane, where some passengers fell from the train towards the CSMT.
