Traffic restrictions at Vaishali Nagar underpass in Hyderabad extended till October 14

Traffic restrictions at the Vaishali Nagar railway underpass in Hyderabad’s Miyapur area have been extended for another week to facilitate the treatment of the newly laid road surface.

According to a traffic advisory issued by the Cyberabad Traffic Police, the restrictions will remain in force from October 8 to October 14. The road widening and rainwater drainage works at the underpass have been completed, but traffic restrictions will remain in place to allow the newly laid road surface to gain adequate strength and durability. The restrictions will affect several routes and junctions around the Vaishali Nagar railway underpass.

Traffic coming from My Home Mangala Apartments towards Hafeezpet via the underpass will be diverted at My Home Mangala T-Junction, followed by a turn towards Raghavendra Nagar Colony, a left turn at Raghavendra Nagar Colony Junction, Hi-Tension Road and a left turn at Kondapur RTA office before taking the ROB via Hapetez to Hapetez.

Vehicles coming from Telangana Contractors Cultural Club towards Vaishali Nagar Railway Underpass will also be diverted at My Home Mangala T-junction. Commuters will have to proceed towards Raghavendra Nagar Colony, take a left turn at Colony Junction, continue on Hi-Tension Road and take a left turn at RTA office Kondapur before taking Hafeezpet ROB/Flyover towards Hafeezpet and Allwyn Junction.

Traffic from the back gate of My Home Jewel, RTC Colony and Manjeera Pipeline Road towards My Home Mangala and Raghavendra Nagar Colony via underpass will be diverted along Pipeline Road towards Hafeezpet ROB/Flyover. Vehicles will then turn left near Genpact, join Kondapur-Allwyn Junction, take a U-turn at Government School and use Hafeezpet ROB/Flyover towards Kondapur and Raghavendra Nagar Colony.

Similarly, traffic from Vasavi Lake City and Hafeezpet Lake towards My Home Mangala and Raghavendra Nagar Colony will be diverted at Spire One Apartments via underpass. Commuters will have to turn towards Hafeezpet ROB/Flyover, turn left near Genpact, join Kondapur-Allwyn Junction Road and turn towards Government School before proceeding via Hafeezpet ROB/Flyover.

Traffic from Gopal Nagar and Calvary Temple towards My Home Mangala will have to take a right turn at Hafeezpet ROB/Flyover, join Kondapur-Allwyn Junction and turn at Government School before proceeding via Hafeezpet ROB/Flyover towards Kondapur and Raghavendra Nagar Colony.
