Traffic diversions on Nalgonda X – Owaisi Junction roads till July 21

The Hyderabad Traffic Police has announced a four-day traffic diversion plan in view of the construction of the Complex Development Elevated Corridor between Saidabad Junction and Yadagiri Theatre. The diversions will remain in effect from July 18 to July 21.

As part of the construction work, one side of the road will remain closed between Saidabad Y Junction and Yadagiri Theatre. Police have advised commuters to avoid the stretch between Nalgonda X Roads and Owaisi Hospital (DMRL Junction), warning of heavy traffic on adjacent roads and junctions during this period.

Traffic from Nalgonda X Roads towards Chandrayangutta including 4 wheelers, RTC buses and heavy trucks will be diverted at Saidabad Y Junction. Vehicles will proceed through DCP East Zone office, Saidabad Law and Order Police Station, Saraswathi Nagar Kaman, Sankeswar Bazar, Indian Petrol Bunk, Singareni Colony, Onus Robotic Hospital, Champapet Main Road and Laxma Reddy Garden before entering the DMRL rotary.

Similarly, vehicles traveling from Chandrayangutta towards Nalgonda X Roads will be diverted at the DMRL junction. The alternate route will pass through Laxma Reddy Garden, Champapet, IS Sadan, Singareni, Sankeswar Bazar, Bus Stand 105, Saidabad Police Station, Saidabad Y Junction, Chanchalguda and Malakpet Fire Station. Diversion is applicable for ATVs, RTC buses and heavy trucks.

For two-wheelers and three-wheelers traveling from Chanchalguda towards Saidabad Y Junction, the left side road will be converted into a two-way carriageway while the right side road will remain temporarily closed. The same arrangement will be applicable for vehicles traveling from Saidabad Y Junction towards DMRL.

Police also diverted all district RTC buses and heavy vehicles plying from MGBS and Chaderghat towards IS Sadan and Champapet. These vehicles will instead be routed through Nalgonda X Roads, Malakpet Gunj, Moosarambagh, Dilsukhnagar, Kothapet and LB Nagar Chowrasta.

Two-wheelers, three-wheelers and vehicles belonging to nearby colonies have been advised to use Yadagiri Theater Road and available inner side lanes to reach their destinations.
