
The Hyderabad Traffic Police issued a traffic alert on January 31 in connection with the investigation by the Special Investigation Team scheduled for February 1 at Nandi Nagar in Banjara Hills in connection with the investigation of former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao.
According to the advisory, traffic diversions and shutdowns as required will be implemented in and around Nandi Nagar from 11:00 am onwards. Vehicles may be stopped or diverted at Nandi Nagar Bus Stand, Nandi Nagar Welfare Association Building, JC Reddy Chicken Centre, Union Bank byline, Basavatarakam Rotary, Agrasen Junction, TS Study Circle, NTR Bhavan, MRC Kamaan on Road No. 12 and Sagar Society T-junction.
Commuters have been advised to monitor traffic updates through Hyderabad Traffic Police’s social media platforms and take alternate routes to avoid traffic jams. In case of emergency, the traffic police helpline can be contacted at 9010203626. This alert was issued by D. Joel Davis, Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Hyderabad, who urged citizens to cooperate with traffic personnel during the diversions.
