The Hyderabad Traffic Police has announced diversions and traffic restrictions in view of a large public meeting organized by the Federation of Telugu Film Industry Employees and its 24 affiliated bodies at the Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium, Yousufguda on October 28.
From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., moderate traffic congestion is expected in and around the stadium. To ensure smooth movement and public convenience, police advised commuters to avoid Yousufguda area and take alternative routes.
Traffic from Maitrivanam Junction towards Yousufguda Basti, Rahmathnagar, Karmikanagar and Borabanda Bus Stand will be diverted at Yousufguda Basti towards Krishnakanth Park, GTS Temple, Kalyan. Nagar, Mothinagar and Borabanda Bus Stand.
Traffic from Maitrivanam Junction heading towards Jubilee Hills Checkpost via Yousufguda Checkpost and Madhapur will be diverted at Yousufguda Basti towards RBI Quarters, Krishna Nagar Junction and Jubilee Hills Checkpost. Vehicles from Jubilee Hills and Venkatagiri check post heading towards the stadium will be diverted towards Srinagar Colony and Panjagutta at Krishna Nagar junction. Those traveling from Borabanda Bus Stand towards Karmikanagar, Rahmathnagar and Yousufguda Checkpost will be diverted at Prime Garden Function Hall towards Midland Bakery, GTS Colony, Kalyan Nagar Junction, Vengal Rao Nagar, Umesh Chandra Statue U-turn, ICICI U-turn and Maitrivanam Junction.
Dedicated parking spaces for visitors include Metro Parking (Janakamma Thota 1 and 2) and Savera and Mahamood Function Hall for ATVs.
Citizens have been asked to plan their journey accordingly and cooperate with the Hyderabad Traffic Police to minimize inconvenience.
