
In view of the large-scale Id prayers scheduled on March 21, the Bengaluru Traffic Police has announced extensive traffic restrictions along Mysore Road and surrounding areas.
According to officials, an estimated 15,000 to 20,000 Muslims are expected to gather for prayers at the mosque near BB Junction on Mysore Road and the BBMP ground in Chamarajpet. The restriction will apply on Saturday from 7 a.m. until the end of prayers.
Police said that movement of vehicles of all types, including movement through BGS flyover, will be completely prohibited on Mysore Road between Tollgate Junction and Town Hall via BB Junction. Similarly, traffic from the City Hall towards Mysore will also be restricted through the same stretch.
Police urged the public to plan their journey in advance and cooperate with authorities to ensure the smooth running of prayers.
