A group of tourists who visited the Mouse Palace were complemented by a traditional welcome on Sunday, accompanied by a traditional welcome with Mysur Peta.
The Janani Seva Trust initiative was organized to make tourists feel at home while visiting Mysur and Dasar.
The organizers said that tourists were also introduced to Nanjangud Rasabale, which is a Gi-product from the region, but accumulates on the brink of extinction. Tourists were also offered to Mysur Beetle Leaf, Mysuru and Mouse Mallige (Jasmine) in an attempt to introduce them to the specialization associated with Mysur.
In response to the initiative, one of the tourists from Bengalur said that during Dasar planned to visit Mysur for a long time and this year it was possible. “We have seen lighting of the city, palaces and elephants and enjoying an experience,” said several other tourists who were part of the group.
