The IDEKKI district administration deposited the restriction of tourism in IDUKKI. The collector Idukki V. Vigneshwari issued an order on Saturday, which in the coming days suspended all activities for tourism and adventure in the tourism area in the district. The order stated that activities related to tourism in the district will be suspended until the next notice.
The collector also managed the Council for the promotion of the District Tourism (DTPC), representatives of the director of Periyar Tiger Reserve (PTR), deputy director of the tourist department and tourism manager, representatives to ensure the suspension of tourism.
