Tottenham Hotspur confirmed that midfielder James Maddison had suffered the main injuries before the campaign until 2025-26. England International tore the anterior cross (ACL) in the right knee during the pre -season friendly against Newcastle United in Seoul.
In a statement issued on Monday, the club revealed that Maddison would undergo surgery in the coming days, after which he will begin his rehabilitation under the supervision of SPURS medical staff. The midfielder, who played a key role in the European League triumph in the club last season, contributed 12 goals and 11 assists in all competitions.

ACL injury usually requires at least six to nine months for complete recovery, depending on the extent of damage and rehabilitation process.
