Tottenham Hotspur confirmed his first signature of Thomas Frank’s era and was secured by French striker Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich for a permanent agreement. The club announced the transfer on Sunday, June 15.
Tel initially added Spurs to the loan in February early this year. The club had the opportunity to make the permanent movement they have now performed. The new contract will be maintained by tel on the side of North London until 2031.
Since arrival, tel performed 20 performances for Spurs and contributed three goals and one assist. He played a key role in their European League campaign, including the final, where Spurs defeated Manchester United and ended his long -term trophy drought.
He made his debut as a replacement for the second leg accessories Carabao Cup against Liverpool and won his first start in the FA Cup match against Aston Villa, where he scored his debut goal for the club. His first Premier League goal came with a sentence in 3-1 victories over Southampton in April.
Tel’s arrival adds a much needed depth to attack Tottenham, which was seriously affected by injury during the recently closed season.
A 19 -year -old man currently represents France at the European UFA Championship under 21 years of age in 2025. Despite showing a promise in Bayern Mnichonice, where he scored 16 goals and gave seven assists in 83 performances, he fought for consistent game time.
