The final preparations of the European League Tottenham Hotspur were a huge blow with the club, which confirmed that Dejan Kulusevski underwent a knee injury surgery, which he suffered against Crystal Palace over the weekend.
However, the Premier League Club did not rule out it for the rest of the season. “Dejan underwent surgery after an injury suffered against Crystal Palace and immediately starts his rehabilitation with our medical staff,” the club said in a statement.
Kulusevski, 25, only recently returned from his leg injury and played a key role in Tottenham’s journey to the European League final, which presented in decisive victories over Eintracht Frankfurt and Bodo/Glimt. His absence comes as another main failure for Ange postcogla, which is already fighting with a growing list of injuries.
James Maddison and adolescent midfielder Lucas Bergvall are also displaced, limiting the possibilities of postatecogla in the attack and in the middle of the field. However, when Captain Heung-Min son returned to the action against the palace, there was a flash of positivity and the manager was pleased with his progress.

“First, he is good from a physical point of view,” said Postecoglou about his son. “It was good for him to get minutes yesterday and he had a good session today. He feels good and we still have eight or nine days, plus a game on Friday, where we can build it. It’s great to have it – he was a big catalyst this year.”
The exact timeline of the Kičusevski remains unclear and postcogla refers to injuries as only “knocking” earlier in the week. However, concerns are growing that the attacker could miss the beginning of next season, except for the next Wednesday finals.
The depth of the middle field is now a growing interest for Spurs. The postcogle is left with four fit central midfielders – Rodrigo Bentancur, Yves Bissouma, Pape Matar Sarr and Archie Gray – to fill three places in the middle of the park.
Meanwhile, Brennan Johnson gave SPURS employees to scare during the training at the beginning of this week after a collision with Sergio Reguin, but the Welsh international managed to continue without any problems. Postcoglou, always pragmatist, took a step.
“I put them in a cotton wave for another 10 days,” he joked. “Reggy dealt with Brennan and are in the same team – that’s how it goes!”
Postcoglou is expected to provide another update to the Bifters and Fitness team before Friday’s Premier League trip to Aston Villa, with the European League final a few days later.
