Sunil Gavascar feels that Kl Rahul is a total team player, but the Indian opener will not realize his real potential yet. Rahul tried to nail his place in the test team for him and hovered around various positions in the order of bats. Retirement of Rohit Sharma opened the door for him to be a partner of Yashasvi Jaiswal upstairs.
Rahul got a great start in the first shifts when he scored 42, but couldn’t make money and get a big score. The Indian opener finds himself in a similar place at 47, not at the end of 3. Gavascar said that Rahul had so many talents and a wide range of shots in his arsenal, but the Indian opener did not fulfill the hype.
“He has so much talent. Look at all shots at offside, on the side of the legs, swing, everything. All shots, but he didn’t get about it. Now it could be a little self -doubt or anything that Bangalore boys ever keep before fulfilling their potential,” Gavascar said.
When he talked about his campaign, Gavascar said it was exciting to watch Rahul 3. A day and claimed that he could constantly grim the Indian cover unit of the opening. The Indian legend also said that it hopes that Rahul will come well in the series and approach 700 runs in the series.
